For the SongArt50 challenge. This is quote #4, "Today is where your book begins".

The book Verte's reading here is called "the Fate of Fates", and it will show up in a couple more pages of Parma. As well, we have Argent's rude awakening, which is where the story begins.

This took ages to ink, and maybe a half hour of photoshop to input text and flat colour if anyone's wondering why it's not in digital.

After looking through many modern designs, I'm lead to believe that flat (and washed-out) colours are in nowadays. The inking job is amazing! It looks like one of those old Victorian style pictures.

On my next lunch break or so, I'll read Parma. I keep meaning to!

I just love music, and it gives me an excuse to draw the Parma cast with out gutters and speach balloons. Don't feel bad, work on Complex instead :P

Haha, don't. It's not that great. And if any of my classmates were working in the commons and happened to put my scribbles of Prupure together with the comic, I'd be embarassed.

I'm not a huge fan of flat colours, they're just so much easier. If I could colour like you, they'd all be nicely shaded. And thanks about the inking job :heart:

Whoa that is amazing! The inking is most impressive o.O I can see how it'd take a while! Your characters look so COOL! I love how they all just flow, like the whole composition is just really well done! :D Keep it up, you're doing amazingly! ( ^^; Today that will be a word! )

I always thought "amazingly" was a word. I'll have to check some time. Thanks, I'm trying to start understanding compositions, since for years I'd just draw one character on the middle of the page, and flip to the next.
